RDB Deputy CEO Mukazayire speaks to Stanford School students

RDB(Rwanda Development Board) Deputy CEO Nelly Mukazayire welcomed students from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, who are in Rwanda to understand the country’s transformation and sustainable urban development.

They discussed RDB’s role in attracting private sector investments and talent, advancing inclusive development, and Rwanda’s overarching vision as a regional and international economic hub.

The interest to Rwanda came from the fact that despite the 1994 Genocide, and other obstacles, Rwanda has transformed itself from a failed state into one of Africa’s fastest growing, most stable, and least corrupt countries in only three decades.

The Stanford Graduate School of Business is the graduate business school of Stanford University, a private research university in Stanford, California. For several years, it has been the most selective business school in the United States, admitting only about 6% of applicants.

RDB is a government agency in Rwanda with a vision to transform Rwanda into a dynamic global hub for business, investment, and innovation. Its mission is to fast-track economic development in Rwanda by enabling private sector growth. (End)
