RIB (Rwanda Investigation Bureau) is hosting a five days training on “Cybercrime Investigation and cryptocurrencies” from 27 February to 03 March 2023.
This training aims at enhancing the knowledge and skills of investigators in investigating these new crimes and promoting cooperation in joint operations in fighting cybercrime and cryptocurrency-related fraud in Africa.
The training is attended by 21 investigators from 8 African countries, namely Botswana, Cameroon, Mauritius, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.
The training is facilitated by INTERPOL, the international police organization, AFRIPOL-AU(African Union Mechanism for Police Cooperation), and INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB – Kigali).
