Malakal: Rwandan Peacekeepers (Rwanbatt2) under United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) were decorated with UN service medals. The event was held in Upper Nile State at Malakal Town, UNMISS Rwanbatt2 base camp.
The UNMISS Force Commander Lt Gen Mohan Subramanian presided over the medal parade awarding ceremony. He congratulated the Rwanbatt2 peacekeepers for the exceptional services provided in Upper Nile State.
