US Envoy pays courtesy call to Rwandan Senate President

Today, the U.S. Ambassador to Rwanda, Eric Kneedler, paid a courtesy call to Kalinda Francois Xavier, President of the Senate with Vice presidents Nyirasafari Espérance and Dr Mukabaramba Alvera.

“They commended bilateral relations between Rwanda and USA and committed to strengthening cooperation between Rwanda and US Senates”, according to the Rwandan Senate. 

The United States of America works in partnership with Rwanda in different sectors such as providing basic health services; expanding economic opportunities particularly through a strengthened agricultural production and food security program; protecting and promoting the country’s unique biodiversity; expanding access to electricity, and improving the educational system, security and peace etc. (End)
