The Rwandan Ambassador to Iceland with residence in Sweden, Dr Diane Gashumba, on Tuesday presented her Letters of Credence to the President of Iceland Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson.
During an official ceremony that took place at the Residence of the President of Iceland, Gashumba conveyed greetings of the Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
The President of Iceland Jóhannesson commended Rwanda’s post-genocide recovery and development saying that Icelanders should learn about Rwanda’s recovery from tragedy to a peaceful and growing country.
The Rwandan Embassy to the Nordic Countries is accredited to Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. (End)
