Today, Minister of State in charge of ICT and TVET, Claudette Irere, officiated the TotalEnergies three-day lecture at University of Rwanda(UR) Centre of Excellence in Energy for Sustainable Development to promote the relationship between the world of energy and the academic world.
A three-day lecture will focus on Climate change & Energy Transition, Oil &Gas Exploration and Production – Process and Techniques; States, Corporations, Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility among other topics.
The lectures will be offered by experts of TotalEnergies and participants are Postgraduate students in energy and lecturers with background in energy. This intervention is one of activities to be implemented under a recent signed MoU between
TotalEnergies and Rwanda Government.
On January 31, 2022, the French company TotalEnergies signed a MoU with Rwanda to deploy its multi-energy offer and contribute to the development of the energy sector. (End)
